Everyone needs a little extra care- especially when it comes to your eyes. The human eye is one of the body’s most complex organs, made up of many minute parts that work together to create an image. It is incredible what occurs within this small space.
- The common person blinks 12 times per minute – about 10,000 blinks in an average day
- Color blind people do see color but only definite colors such as red, green and some blues, also color blindness is more common in males
- Only 1/6th of your eyeball is showing to the outside world
- The muscles that move the eye are the strongest in the body
- Your eyes begin to develop 2 weeks after conception
- Your eyelashes work like windshields to take away the tears that are formed to protect your eyes from drying out
- Your eyes will never wear out.
- Your eyes are always the same size from birth, but your nose and ears never stop growing
- The older we are the smaller amount of tears we produce.
- Our eyelashes help to keep dirt out of our eyes.
- Our eyebrows are made to keep sweat from running into our eyes.
- Blinking helps to wash tears over our eyeballs. That keeps them clean and moist.
- The reason why your nose gets runny when you are crying is because the tears from the eyes drain into the nose.
- The cornea is the clear frontage part of the eye that allows light to pass through.
- The iris is the colored part of the eye
- The pupil is the black part of the eye, which is actually an opening that lets light in.
Hope this post help you a lot…
Cheers
